It is always a special day at AXE HEAVEN® when we are contacted by icons of the music industry about creating a custom miniature replica of their guitars, so you can understand if we considered it an extra-special day when we received an email from a member of Furthur’s merchandising team about creating custom promotional replicas of instruments for both Bob Weir and Phil Lesh.
We have been fans of the Grateful Dead since way back when and we have already paid tribute to the band with our miniature collectible version of Weir’s “Cowboy Fancy” and mini replicas of several Jerry Garcia guitars.

Furthur is currently on tour and playing some of the best music ever by the various post-Dead incarnations that have jammed the nights away, thanks in part to the inspired presence of John Kadlecik on lead guitar and vocals.
You can listen to Furthur live in concert on October 4 at 11:00pm ET on SiriusXM’s Grateful Dead Channel. If you have not yet heard this group of seasoned veterans play live, this is a great opportunity to experience this polished ensemble put their unique and delightful stamp on classic songs from throughout the Dead’s history, along with a few well-chosen gems from outside that catalog.
If you can’t wait a few days to hear Furthur live, here is a hi-def video produced at Bob Weir’s awesome state-of-the-art TRI Studios in Tamalpais Valley, CA:
Coincidentally, TRI Studios is the location at which the Chickenfoot live webcast will take place this Tuesday, September 27 at 9:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM PT in honor of the release of their new album “III”. After you this enjoy this live show, be sure to check out our exclusive Michael Anthony Chickenfoot Bass Miniature Replica.
