Our new BB King Mini Guitar Collection includes an 80th Birthday release, a sweet Cherry model, and a Lucille tribute version with a classic photo of BB and his signature.

From the Delta to Global Fame

BB King was born Riley. B. King in Mississippi in 1925. He passed away in 2015. He rose from his cotton plantation roots to become a musician whose recordings are cherished around the world. While launching his career in Memphis, he earned the nickname “Beale Street Blues Boy,” which became “Blues Boy,” which became “BB,” who became well-known and listened to everywhere.

Anyone who loves music is familiar with the distinctive and emotionally-charged sounds of both BB King’s guitar playing and his singing. His version of “The Thrill is Gone” (written by Roy Hawkins and Rick Darnell) is perhaps the most famous blues song of them all. Enjoy his live performance of this classic in the video below.

What More Can We Say?

There’s not much we can say about BB King that has not already been said. His accolades include induction into the Blues Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame. His legacy lives on at the many BB King Blues Club venues across the nation and on the BB King’s Bluesville channel on satellite radio.

The new BB King Mini Guitar Collection by AXE HEAVEN® speaks for itself.
