A dream come true: Passion for creating the best guitars and miniature guitars in the world has paid off with the most incredible partnership imaginable: Gibson™ and AXE HEAVEN®! Gibson™ Brands, the world’s most iconic guitar brand, has shaped the sounds of generations of musicians and music lovers across genres for more than 100 years. Founded in 1894 and headquartered in Nashville, TN, Gibson Brands has a legacy of world-class craftsmanship, legendary music partnerships and progressive product evolution that is unrivaled among musical instrument companies. Gibson started in a garage in 1894 and created a beautiful and durable mandolin that could be manufactured in volume, and the rest, as they say, is history. Gibson incorporated the production company in 1902 as the Gibson Mandolin-guitar Mfg. Co. Ltd.

In the 1950s era, Gibson created the Les Paul, the Explorer, the Flying V, and the Firebird but they had no idea what their commitment to their beautiful guitars would lead to nor how popular they would become. Les Pauls, in addition to all these other distinctive instruments, have put Gibson on the map as the most sought after guitars in the world. Not knowing then what we know now, they built and sold less than 1500 Sunburst (or “Bursts”) Les Paul Standards between 1958 and 1960 and only 643 of these were the “Holy Grail of guitars”: The 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, the most sought after guitar in the history of guitars! You might recognize it as Jimmy Page’s Number One guitar, the one he played in Stairway to Heaven… AXE HEAVEN’s miniature 1959 is spot on!

In November of 2006, AXE HEAVEN® was founded. Also started out of a garage with a love and passion for music.

The journey started by building just that one miniature guitar by hand and we found so much happiness and satisfaction. That one mini led to 100’s of models designed and produced for some of the biggest artists and bands on the planet. Inspired by the feeling of history one can have by holding a mini replica guitar from their favorite musician’s guitar, it has been a love affair from the start and it’s been that feeling that’s endured to create the best miniature guitars in the world. Every mini guitar is exact in its details and it’s the history behind each model that has been the inspiration, along with all the fans who love music and want to identify with the guitar heroes they listen to.

After all these years, these two committed companies have come together in a partnership that will rock musicians and collectors all over the globe. Gibson™ and AXE HEAVEN® have collaborated for over a year in coming up with an iconic miniature guitar line and the official product release was at the NAMM 2020 Winter Show (January 16-18) in the Gibson™ booth!
