Billy F Gibbons began his musical career in the band Moving Sidewalks, which opened for Jimi Hendrix on his first headlining tour in the U.S in 1969. He then joined Dusty Hill and Frank Beard to form ZZ Top, which released its first album in 1971. In 2015, Gibbons launched his initial solo album.

No matter the band, Billy F Gibbons has always presented one of the most discernable sounds in music. With roots in the blues, Texas swing, and raw rock and roll, he blended these common forms into his own unique style of irresistibly rockin’ music.
